safety, or if they were instructed on the safe use of the device and are aware of the

dangers associated with its operation. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning

and maintenance of the device should not be carried out by children, unless they are over

8 years of age and these activities are carried out under supervision.

14.In order to provide additional protection, it is recommended to install residue current

device (RCD) in the power circuit, with residual current rating not more than 30 mA.

16. Unplug from the outlet when not in use, before cleaning and before attempting to adjust

parts.

17. The appliance must not be used near water or other liquids.

18. Only for use on straight edges. Not for use on scissors or serrated edges.

19. Do not run fingers along the blade of the knife to check for sharpness.

20. Never insert the tip of the knife into the slot first and push through. This could damage

the knife sharpener and your blade.
